- Closure: We may place a stitch to help the gum heal faster.

Does it hurt?
You will feel pressure/pushing, but absolutely no sharp pain. If you feel anything, we stop and add more anesthesia.
Can I smoke after?
No. Smoking can cause a "Dry Socket," which is very painful. You must wait at least 72 hours.
How soon can I get an implant?
Sometimes we can place the implant immediately (same day). Otherwise, we usually wait 3-4 months for the bone to heal.
