Pediatric Crowns in DHA Phase 4, Lahore

Strong Protection for Little Teeth.

When a baby tooth is too damaged for a simple filling (due to a large cavity or after a pulpotomy), it needs a helmet to protect it. At Dental Services in Sector DD, we offer both Stainless Steel Crowns (the superhero silver tooth!) and Zirconia Crowns (the aesthetic white tooth) to keep your child chewing happily.

Why Do Kids Need Crowns?

Fillings in baby molars often fail because the teeth are small and kids grind them. A crown covers the entire tooth, making it extremely durable. It stays on until the baby tooth falls out naturally—you never have to worry about it again.

Types of Crowns We Offer

  • Stainless Steel Crowns (Silver): The gold standard for back teeth. They are thin, require very little drilling, and are very strong. Kids often love them and call them their "Iron Man tooth" or "Princess tooth."
  • Zirconia Crowns (White): Made of high-strength ceramic. They look exactly like natural teeth. Great for front teeth or if aesthetics are a priority for parents.

Is This Right for Your Child?

  • They have a cavity that covers multiple sides of the tooth.
  • They have had a Baby Root Canal (Pulpotomy).
  • Their tooth is broken or has a defect (Hypoplasia).

Our Process at our Sector DD Clinic

  1. Selection: We choose the right size cap for the tooth.
  2. Preparation: We gently shape the tooth to fit the crown.
  3. Placement: We cement the crown on.
  4. Done: No waiting for a lab—it is done in one visit!

What Our Parents Are Saying

"My daughter needed a crown on her molar. We chose the white zirconia one and you literally cannot tell the difference. It looks perfect." — Mrs. Faiza, DHA Phase 5

FAQs About Kids Crowns

Will the crown fall out?

It is cemented on very securely. It will fall out with the baby tooth when the adult tooth pushes it out (usually around age 10-12).

Can they eat sticky candy?

We recommend avoiding very sticky toffee (like eclairs) as it can pull the crown off, but normal chewing is fine.

Does the silver crown pose any health risks?

No, it is medical-grade stainless steel and completely safe.
